Welcome to Providence!

Hello HEAVEN! I cannot tell you how excited I was to move out of Summerlin! No offense but I just do not belong there! I was raised from the age of 1 1/2 till I was married in the Centennial Hills area, which was named that LONG after our house was built. When my parents built the house I lived in for 20 years we were "the middle of nowhere" and since then of course it has been one of the most developed areas in the city! When we got married the first thing that was decided was that Nu'u was going to attend Chef school and take the Culinary Arts program and Le Courdon Bleu. So the rest of decisions made like where we would live and what we would be doing were based off of that. Since they have a location in Summerlin right off of Town Center we decided to look in the area for a place to live. We moved in August of 2013 just over a month after we got married. After having some troubles with enrolling at Le Courdon Bleu Nu'u found out that he would have to be getting

Tonga boy meets a dentist before returning to TONGA!

Member how this whole blog is supposed to be about the adventures of being married to a polynesian boy? This is the reason I get SO excited to post about stuff that is unique to that specific circumstance! So today Nu'u had his teeth cleaned for the first time. She didn't go too deep on him because she knew it wasn't gonna get all done in one visit. He also had to get a couple fillings done and will have to get a couple more in a few weeks! It is so funny to me that something I have been doing and used to for as long as I can remember can be so foreign to someone at 24. He was absolutely adorable though and honestly had really good looking teeth for never having been cleaned before! Tongans usually have pretty good teeth so that's good! Now on to the hard part of dentistry........WISDOM TEETH. That just made you grunt to even read. Because maybe it reminds you of when you got yours out? My surgery actually went really well, I was eating pizza the next day and only too

16 Weeks

How far along? 16 weeks and 5 days! Baby is the size: Avocado! Maternity clothes? Yes of course! But I'm really liking them :] I was thinking for a while I wouldn't be needing to buy many shirts because I have always bought shirt a little bigger and looser but I'm starting to think it won't be long till my tops don't fit :/ if so it will be a good excuse for some baby bump hawaii shopping!  Sleep: I have slept well for the most part the last couple weeks. For the most part I'm woken up having to pee and can usually fall right back asleep, other than that sleeping has gone well! I have noticed though in the last little bit that I'm unable to be comfortable on my tummy, which obviously makes me smile a little because it's just another form of evidence to this bump! :] Have you seen me lately?! I feel HUGE! and of course I'm not even half way yet! haha Best moment this week: We made it through the move! haha Even though I wasn't allowed to he

14 Weeks.

How far along? 14 weeks 6 days Baby is the size: KIWI! Maternity clothes? YES. bleh. Preparing for our trip to California last weekend I realized in thinking about what to pack that I had nothing! I had hardly a pair of shorts that fit me before I got pregnant let alone with this baby belly coming on! Confession: I'm not like most girls that wear their pants at their waist. I've never been fond of my belly so I've always pulled pants up over it to avoid that "muffin top" look. So for most girls that gain a belly out of nowhere and wear pants below it can get away with wearing a belly band, I am far from that. On the other hand I'm happy to tell you maternity pants are the best thing that's ever happened to me and they are SO comfortable. I felt like a million bucks throughout our trip and since. I haven't had to buy many tops so far and I'm hoping I won't have to. MOST of my tops I always buy big and stretchy so I think I'll be able to

Rugby, Beach, DISNEYLAND!

Talk about a fun filled LOADED trip to California. It was the first time my husband had really been anywhere in California. He took one trip before to Pasadena for ruby but we went there and back. No beach, no "pretty" parts, no fun! haha So this trip was much much different. Saturday, early morning, we left for Santa Barbara! Nu'u played his last game of the season there and played SO well. It was at a beautiful park on the hillside of the mountain there and we had so much fun! They had a little BBQ after because the home team was also playing their last match of the season. They had hot dogs and beer (for the drinkers) and yummy salad! We left Santa Barbara following the game and BBQ and hiked our way back the Newport side! We stayed right on Balboa Bay in a beautiful hotel. We listened to conference every time we got the chance in the car because we got it on satellite radio. We couldn't find it in the hotel so driving out in the morning then back up th
